Ingredients

  • 500 g of empanada dough

  • 500 g of zamburiñas

  • 1 onion

  • 1 green pepper

  • 2 tomatoes

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 1 egg

  • parsley

  • salt

  • pepper

  • olive oil

Process

Clean the zamburiñas and reserve.

Chop the onion, pepper, tomatoes and garlic.

In a pan, sauté the onion, pepper and garlic with a little oil.

Add the tomatoes and salt and pepper.

Cook until a thick sauce forms.

Add the zamburiñas and the parsley and cook for a few minutes.

Remove from heat and let cool.

Stretch half of the dough and line a greased mold.

Fill with the mixture of zamburiñas and cover with the other half of the dough.

Seal the edges and make a hole in the center.

Paint with beaten egg and bake at 180ºC for about 30 minutes or until golden brown

Approximate time: 1 hour.
