Traditional Recipe to cook Chestnut soup

Ingredients

  • 500g of chestnuts

  • 4 cloves of garlic

  • 1 onion

  • 1 tablespoon of paprika

  • 2 tablespoons of vinegar

  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil

  • salt

  • water

Process

Peel the chestnuts and cook them in a pot with water and salt until tender.

In a pan, fry the chopped garlic with the oil.

Add the chopped onion and paprika and sauté until the onion is transparent.

Add the vinegar and let it evaporate.

Pour the sofrito over the chestnut broth and let it boil for a few minutes.

Serve hot and if you like, accompany with cold pork meat.
