Traditional Recipe to cook Asturian bean stew

Ingredients

  • 500 g of fabes (white beans)

  • 200 g of pancetta

  • 200 g of Asturian chorizo

  • 200 g of Asturian blood sausage

  • 1 onion

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 1 bay leaf

  • salt

  • black pepper to taste

Process

The night before, we soak the fabes in cold water.

In a large pot, we cook the fabes with water, bacon, chorizo, blood sausage, onion, garlic, bay leaf, salt, and pepper for about 2 hours
